Your World and Mine (First Person)

When I first saw her walk passed, I wondered how
Do I make this girl wanna spend time with me
What tune I should sing and would it be on key?
She was a radiant beauty, unlike what I’ve seen
I felt I was in the clouds and she was a fleeting dream
A fleeting grace, I could hardly keep up pace
One wrong move and I couldn’t save face
I just had to figure out the right time and place

A couple moments later she was right in my face
On that Starbucks line, I was standing right behind her
Hoping one day I could stand right beside her
Had to cool down, get to my Al Pacino
“Excuse me miss, can I buy you that Frappuccino?”
She was dressed down, all fly in Moschino
At this point my temperature well below zero
Spitting game at her like an unsung hero

Few days later, we texting on the cellular
Conversation lit, we be talking on the regular
Soon we would see each other everyday
Whenever I’m with her time pauses for us
When I touch her smooth skin, hold her in my arms
I clutch and never let go, I’ll be yours if you’ll be mine
We can, work together for a love divine, just two questions
Wanna mix your world with mine? What do I do to make you mine
till the end of time?
